Introduction to Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. This course is designed for new disaster workers who have limited experience and who have just begun their association with The Salvation Army's emergency disaster services program.

Incident Command System (ICS) will be offered 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19. This course provides participants with a general orientation to The Salvation Army Incident Command System (ICS) and explains how it is used to command, control and coordinate disaster relief operations.
Volunteers completing the training can become certified in disaster services and receive a Salvation Army photo ID, according to Leslie Vattimo, certified instructor and director of disaster services for The Salvation Army Empire State Division.
To register, contact Corps Officer Captain Ronald Heimbrock at the Massena Salvation Army, 769-5154 or email Leslie.Vattimo@USE.SalvationArmy.org.
