The Development Authority of the North Country has launched a new website to make it easier for community partners and the public to find information about the organization, DANC says.
The website is still at the same address, www.danc.org, but it has an entirely new look, DANC said in its announcement.
Visitors can find general information about the Development Authority and what it does by clicking on drop-down menus at the top of the home page. Icons at the bottom of the home page organize information about loan programs, job openings, bids, municipal studies and services that the authority offers to communities.
A dedicated GIS (geographic information system) button makes it easy to access stored geographic data. They host GIS data for more than 60 North Country communities.
The site also has information under “Municipal Studies” pertaining to their work in assisting several communities with consolidation or shared services studies, arranged by community.
The Development Authority of the North Country provides regional infrastructure and technical services to municipalities St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Lewis counties.
