POTSDAM — The public is invited to join Crane School of Music students, faculty and staff at a musical gathering Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Hosmer Hall to honor the life of Elizabeth Howell who was murdered Friday, Feb. 18, near the Crane campus.
The gathering will be followed by the option to express respects at a memorial in the Hosmer lobby.
According to an announcement by Crane Dean William J. Gibbons, the gathering will not be a traditional memorial concert. Those who attend will have the “chance to share in a communal moment of remembrance through contemplative music-making.”
Counseling staff will be on-site for those who need to speak with someone, Gibbons said.
Gibbons’ full letter announcing the gathering can be read on North Country Now here.
