Persistent high pressure will bring a prolonged period of cool and dry weather, lasting through this weekend and into the middle of next week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Cloud cover will be variable through the weekend as the remnants of Ian meander to our south, NWS says. Clear skies likely return by late Sunday, supporting another cold night Sunday night with frost and freeze conditions, NWS says.

The next chance of widespread precipitation is on Thursday night into Friday.

Expect a high temperatures today around 64 with north winds 3-7 mph, NWS says. Overnight the low will be around 41.
