CANTON – A new contract has been struck between the Town of Canton and its eight employees at the highway department.
On Tuesday night, Nov. 29, the town board approved a four-year agreement with CSEA Local 1000 AFSCME, AFL-CIO Unit #8422, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2022.
The pact calls for a 3.25 percent salary increase for 2022, 3.50 percent for 2023 and 3.75 percent for 2024 and 2025.
