CANTON - It was a productive month for Village Code Enforcement Officer Tim Nolan, according to his report to the village board on Wednesday, May 18.
Nolan issued 11 new building permits generating $1,426.82 in revenue.
The permits involved repair work at 3 Canterbury Lane; solar work at 34 Farmer St.; deck work at 30 Goodrich St.; roofing at 27 Goodrich St., deck work at 26 Craig Drive; an operating permit for fireworks, Romoda Drive; renovation work at 86 State St., construction of two new buildings at 6232 County Route 27 (Lot 6); alteration work at Romoda Drive; and deck work at 59 East Main St.
Nolan also issued four certificates of occupancy - two at 8 Haley Drive for an addition and upgrade to the interior, foundation and electrical; the Tim Horton’s/convenience store at 5994 US Highway 11; and 4 Commerce Lane for upgrades to the heating system and air filtration.
Complaints are pending on a dilapidated garage at 23 Lincoln St., and wind borne roof debris at 19 Miner St.
