MORRISTOWN - Paul Meyers will be bringing Brazilian, latin, jazz, world music to Morristown’s Bayside Park Monday evening, July 19, at 7 p.m.
In past years, the Morristown Gateway Museum sponsored live concerts every Monday night during the summer. This year’s series was planned when covid-19 was still a problem. Thus only two concerts are scheduled for this summer; the Monday night, July 19, event with Paul Meyers’ “World on a String”; and a concert on Monday, Aug. 16 by the Atkinson Family Band. Both events will be at 7 pm in Morristown’s Bayside Park where there is room for social distancing. The pavilion at the Morristown Fire Station is the alternate site in case of rain.
Concerts are supported by the Museum itself and the Town of Morristown. Plus, the project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
