MADRID — The St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, 1755 State Route 345, will host its 40th Old Time Spring Exhibition and The Gathering of the Orange Allis-Chalmer Show on June 9-11, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. all three days.
There will be live music, food, women’s skillet toss competition, tractor and horse pulls, equipment demonstrations and other activities all weekend.
Admission is $5 entry per person 12 and younger free. Weekend pass is available for $12 each.
The Gathering of the Orange (GOTO) is a National event held twice a year. Allis-Chalmers enthusiasts travel from all over to attend these shows.
There will be many Allis-Chalmers Tractors and also some equipment that was manufactured over the years, some of which are quite rare.
The Old Time Spring Exhibition Show will be taking place throughout the weekend with a full schedule of events planned and exhibition buildings open to the public.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction. Food, ice cream, and drinks will be available to purchase along with apparel from the SLPEM and the GOTO show!

8 a.m. Gates open
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Quilt Show by the Heritage Fibers Building
9:30-11:30 a.m. & 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saw & Shingle Mill Operating
5 p.m. Lasagna Dinner in the Main Pavilion
6:30-8:30 p.m. Live Music in the Tractor Barn by Steelin' Country* (Entry Fee is $3 per person or $5 a couple)
All Day: Live Demonstrations at the Blacksmith Shop
All Day: SLPEM Museum Buildings Open
All Day: Animals near the Barn
Saturday, June 10
8 a.m. Gates Open

50/50: Selling ends at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

You do not have to be present to win for either the auction or raffles.

7:30-10 a.m. Breakfast
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Ice Cream and Drinks served in the Corner of the Pavilion
11 a.m.-6 p.m. Food & Snacks served inside the Main Pavilion (will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday)
Additional food vendors to include: The Ole Smokehouse, Pig and Moo, and The Masons of Waddington
Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase during Friday & Saturdays evening live music.
