The St. Lawrence University women's tennis team wrapped up its regular-season home slate with an 8-1 win over Hamilton on Wednesday night in Canton, NY.  The Saints, ranked No. 16 in the Northeast region, move to 8-2 with the victory. 

Senior Stephanie Finn teamed up with junior Hillary Drewry for an 8-2 win over Deb Barany and Melissa Mann at first doubles.  At second doubles, sophomores Elizabeth Geer and Shannon Murphy posted an 8-3 win, while classmate Justine Rusk and junior Sara Willet added an 8-3 win at third doubles. 

In singles play, Finn picked up an easy 6-0, 6-1 win at number one, before Drewry claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win at number two to improve to 9-1.  Geer and Murphy earned victories at three and four, and Rusk rounded out the Saints' scoring with a win at number six. 

Wednesday marked the final collegiate home match for the team's three members of the Class of 2011.  Congratulations to Tori Ault, Paige Cohen and Stephanie Finn!

The Saints will compete in their last dual match of the season at RIT on Saturday, April 23 before traveling to Geneva, NY on May 7 and 8 to take part in the Liberty League Tournament.
