St. Lawrence University senior Wendy Pavlus was named Liberty League Outdoor Track Performer of the Year and Hannah Kinsey was the co-winner of the Liberty League Outdoor Track Rookie of the Year award in voting by the league's coaches.
Pavlus, who was named the Track Performer of the Week 12 times during the outdoor and indoor seasons, became the first Saint woman to earn All America in each
of the three seasons in a single academic year as a senior. She won the NCAA Division III cross country championship in the fall, won the indoor 5000 meter championship in March and was second in the outdoor 10,000 meters in May.
The holder of eight St. Lawrence individual records in indoor and outdoor track she won 18 ECAC, NYSCTC and Liberty League titles during her career and had 42 career race wins in track and field. She was both the USTFCCCA cross country and indoor track Runner of the Year. Pavlus has been Liberty League indoor or outdoor Performer of the Year six times in her career in addition to three Liberty League Cross Country Runner of the Year designations.
Kinsey shared the Rookie of the Year award with Aubree Peipmeier of Vassar. Kinsey won the 100 meters, was second in the 200 meters and anchored the winning 4x100 relay team at the Liberty League Championships and also scored in the javelin with a sixth place finish.
