(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's hockey team won their fifth straight game and stayed unbeaten in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League with a 6-1 win over Canisius College Friday night at the Canton Pavilion.
The Roos improved to 5-0 in league play and 13-2 overall. The two teams play again on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Adam Fedor (Orleans, Ontario) scored three goals for his second hat trick of the year.
Tom Darling (Oswego, N.Y.), Jeremiah Hardin (Alpharetta, Ga.), and Dan Cibelli (Liverpool, N.Y.) also scored and Corey Frizell (Orleans, Ontario) contributed two assists.
Matt Cray (Merrimack, N.H.) improved to 3-0 as he stopped eight of nine shots in goal.
Dan Giumpa scored the Golden Griffs goal and Andy Olsen made 30 saves.
