STOCKHOLM -- A Stockholm woman faces drunken driving charges following an accident Thursday.
On September 3, 2020, at approximately 11:09 p.m. State Police responded to Reynolds Road in the town of Stockholm for a report of a vehicle crash. A 2003 Chevrolet Venture operated by 35-year-old Tiffany A. Brandreth, of Taylor, Michigan, was backing out of the driveway at 72 Reynolds Road. Brandreth accelerated instead of braking, and crossed Reynolds Road, subsequently striking a trailer parked in the lawn on the southern side of the road. Her vehicle came to rest on top of the trailer and into a group of small trees.
Brandreth was subsequently charged for DWI. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.15%. Her driving privilege was also determined to suspended in New York. She was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree (E felony) as well as DWI (misdemeanor). Brandreth was arraigned by the Morristown Court and released to reappear in the Town of Stockholm Court.
