NORFOLK — A Norfolk man was charged with driving while intoxicated Friday afternoon, according to state police.
Trooper reportedly charged Evan P. Blair, 32, with first-offense driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and failure to use designated lane around 3:30 p.m.
Troopers allegedly observed a black 2014 Jeep Wrangler traveling on County Route 38 in not staying in their designated lane. The Trooper initiated a traffic stop, interviewing the driver who identified himself as Blair.
During the interview, the trooper reportedly detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Blair was charged after failing field sobriety tests. His blood-alcohol content was allegedly .18%.
Blair was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Norfolk Court in July.
