We were glad to learn that Tedra Cobb is on record stating "I do not support violence of any kind." Martin Luther King famously (and correctly) identified the US military as the "greatest purveyor of violence in the world."
Given that US imperialism and militarism is responsible for the deaths of many millions of predominantly black and brown people, especially in the global south (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, etc.), and has a long and sordid history of bi-partisan support, we are looking forward to Ms. Cobb's specific proposals to end US-state violence abroad.
It is clear from Ms. Stefanik's predictably hollow sound bites that she is much more concerned with the statues of Columbus losing their heads than actual people being killed by US forces and their allies in places such as Somalia.
