To the Editor:

We of the St. Lawrence County Deputies Association representing the Road Patrol Deputies and Detectives of the Sheriff's Office are proud to give our support for Potsdam Town Judge to candidate Kenneth "Juddy" Plumb.

Kenneth is a North Country native who was born and raised in Norfolk and graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School. Kenneth has strong local ties to St. Lawrence County. He earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Canton and was also enlisted in the United States Army as a combat Military Policeman.

Kenneth served 20 years for the New York State Police were he was a Trooper, canine handler, BCI Investigator, and school resource officer, retiring in 2008. He was also the Criminal Justice instructor at BOCES in Norwood until he retired in 2020.

Community service is one of Kenneth's core values. He is member of the American Legion Post 925, member/trustee with the Potsdam Elks Lodge 2074, and president of Adopt a Platton-444.

We believe that this is exactly who the Town of Potsdam needs in the capacity of Judge. Someone who is experienced, fair minded, community oriented, and willing to listen to those who need to be heard, both the victims of crime and those who stand accused of breaking the law.

Join us in voting for Kenneth "Juddy" Plumb for Potsdam Town Judge on Nov. 8.
