To the Editor:
Why would anyone want to have a picture of their child published online, including their name, what town they're from, and what school they attend?
Police departments, child welfare advocates and teachers groups all warn of the dangers of doing so. I get it, people are proud to post a picture of their child and think it's harmless, but online and offline predators can use them to their advantage.
Just because this is the little ole north country doesn't mean there aren't plenty of freaks out there. My advice is to take the advice of the experts and not have them published.
