We were delighted to see that the majority of survey respondents have either come to the North Country Children's Museum or plan to come.
Our hands-on, minds-on exhibits and programs are designed for children 12 and under and their families. We are located at 10 Raymond Street in downtown Potsdam and our hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
We offer discounted yearly memberships for low-income families. All families whose children qualify for free or reduced lunch can join the museum for $25 annually. This membership includes unlimited family visits for a year, free science programs every Saturday, free art programs every Sunday, free drop-in early childhood programs every Thursday, free monthly cultural programs, free daily art and science drop-in activities, and a 10% discount on all class series and birthday parties.
All program descriptions can be viewed online at www.northcountrychildrensmuseum.org/events
We have had an overwhelmingly positive response to this discounted membership initiative with over 90 families participating so far. We welcome all who qualify, please come see us at the museum front desk to sign up or email us at info@northcountrychildrensmuseum.org with any questions.
We hope to see everyone soon at NCCM!
