To the Editor:
Please consider electing John Taillon for Canton Town Council. I have known John since 1974 when I moved to Canton. We spent a lot of time playing baseball with all of our neighborhood friends. He always welcomed me; which was great because I was the only girl on the team.
After college, I moved back to Canton and worked for John one summer while he was the Canton Parks & Recreation Director. John was wonderful to work for. He loved his job and cared for everyone he came into contact with.
John has been a wonderful friend over the past 47 years. John’s wife, Tina, and I have been friends for a long time too. Our families have spent numerous hours together while our daughters played sports from their earlier years at St. Mary’s School all the way through high school at CHS. John has been a very supportive husband, father, and grandfather.
John has always been there to listen and lend a helping hand and will continue to do so. He is kind hearted. He is a hard worker and is very proud of the community in which he has been a lifelong resident. The very same community that he decided to raise his family in.
John cares about Canton. It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to vote for John as Canton Town Council. Please cast your vote for John too.
