Carolynn and Bob Halford and the staff at the Ashley House would like to thank everyone in the community who contributed to our fundraiser, TOGETHER FOR UKRAINE.
We held a two-day garage and bake sale with all proceeds to benefit World Central Kitchen, who has been on the ground, feeding Ukrainian refugees in all kinds of horrific conditions.
Thank you to everyone who donated household items, baked tasty treats, and came to the sale. Thanks also to those who made donations of cash and checks, and to North Country This Week for publicizing the fundraiser.
We made over $1,700, which will be sent directly to WCK. If anyone missed the sale and would like to contribute, please send a check made out to World Central Kitchen to The Ashley House, 1 Park Street, Norwood, NY 13668, and we will make sure that it gets to them.
We feel blessed to be a part of such a caring community.
