Community Lunch Program for Kids Norwood, Norfolk and Raymondville provides 13,900 meals in 2019

Because of the incredibly generous community we live in, The Community Lunch Program for Kids celebrated 2019 as our best year ever! In addition to the 13,900 meals we were able to provide to local children, we are able to assist the NNCS Angel Tree Program by providing an additional 1,090 meals for local children over Christmas break.

In August 2019, CLPK also sponsored the first ever BACK2SCHOOL event at NNCS. 200 children from our program received a new backpack, sneakers, pckg. of socks and pckg. of underwear, as well as school supplies!

All children in the district were invited to celebrate the beginning of the school year with free back-to-school haircuts, gently used clothing, free books and school supplies, and lots of free food treats, as well as informational tables set up by local social service agencies.

None of this would have been possible without the generous businesses, churches, civic groups and individuals of the North Country who support our efforts!

From our CLPK family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and blessed New Year.
