Wal-Mart recently contributed $1,500 to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation, towards purchase of a recumbent step machine used by the hospital’s Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Department.
The recumbent stepper allows patients to use either their arms or legs to work the machine, and enables patients who have difficulty standing to exercise from a seated position.
The seat on the stepper swivels for easy access for those with mobility challenges.
