POTSDAM – A.A. Kingston Middle School student Celeste Darie recently qualified to compete in the Broadcom Master's science fair, based on her project at the March 15-17 TNRSEF Terra Fair.
Only 10% of 6th, 7th and 8th grade science fair participants qualify to compete in this national competition. Darie won Highest Honors at the recent 2022 Terra Fairs Award ceremony and was recognized as having one of the most exemplary written and spoken presentations of a STEM student.
Her project "What is snake skin made out of" focused on using biochemical lab techniques to identify the molecules that make up snake skin.
