POTSDAM -- Professor Christian Felzensztein, the Reh Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Co-Director of the Reh Center of Entrepreneurship, together with Ashley Sweeney, the Director of Ignite -which serves the entire campus as an innovation ecosystem- represented Clarkson University at the XXII Experiential Classroom conference jointly organized by the University of Notre Dame and the University of Tampa Lowth Entrepreneurship Center.

Sweeney was nominated for the best experiential entrepreneurship-teaching award using innovative pedagogical & participative tools, at the same time she was the winner of the entrepreneurship practical simulators award, which can be used for students worldwide to make better-informed business decisions.

Dr Felzensztein met with a diverse group of professors and entrepreneurship center directors who shared their best practices to implement entrepreneurship education & research across university campuses. He also discussed his new research on how entrepreneurship can be a vehicle for solving poverty among disadvantaged rural communities across the world.

“Clarkson was well represented in this global forum, not only for bringing innovative ideas into the classroom but also for helping diverse communities and new entrepreneurs succeed in these new challenging times of the global economy. This is part of our collaborative Entrepreneurial Leadership DNA at Clarkson," Felzensztein said.
