POTSDAM -- Dr. Dana Barry, a research professor at Clarkson University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, recently received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Materials Research Society of Japan (MRS-J), which she shared with her collaborator, Prof. Hideyuki Kanematsu of the National Institute of Technology, Suzuka College.
They were honored for their contributions to contamination control on materials’ surfaces and for their work with biofilms. The award was presented at the 30th anniversary of the society at the annual convention of MRS-J during the conference of the International Union of MRS held in Yokohama, Japan in late November.
