POTSDAM - Clarkson University President Tony Collins has announced that Christopher Towler has been promoted from clinical assistant professor to clinical associate professor of Physical Therapy in the Lewis School of Health Sciences.
He focuses his research in geriatrics and fall prevention/identification of those at risk of falling as related to their cardiovascular fitness. He also is interested in the effects of increasing high fidelity simulation in the cardiopulmonary PT curriculum on student clinical confidence in acute care, and bone health.
Dr. Towler received his bachelor of science degree in biology in 2006 and his doctor of physical therapy in 2009, both from Clarkson. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatrics and a member of the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.
