She finished her career at NCCC with 64 goals and 33 assists, for 161 points, to break a record of 45 career goals set last year by teammate Alicia Cook.
“Playing with Alicia last year and watching her break the record was inspiring,” DeArmaYero said. “It really pushed me to work harder to try and break it this season.”
DeArmaYero, an environmental studies major and a Salmon River Central School graduate, was one of the Saints’ captains this past season.
She is playing with the NCCC contingent on Paul Smith’s College’s women’s hockey team for the 2019-202 season.
