CANTON: The Hoax, featuring Kevin Smith and Dan Sullivan-Catlin of Potsdam, 7:30-10 p.m., Buccaneer Lounge, 4 W. Main St.; the musical influences for The Hoax are varied, including the Beatles and the Allman Brothers as well as contemporary artists like Jack Johnson and Ryan Montbleau, rock and roll, Americana, the blues and reggae; inspired twists to familiar songs and a fun groove for the band's original music; no cover, but donations collected for the entertainers.
NYS Women meet
