One Hour One Work

OGDENSBURG: Frederic Remington Art Museum invites public to attend “One Hour One Work” session, 1 p.m.; featuring “No More He Rides,” also known as The Cow Puncher, which is on loan to the Remington Museum from the Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth, Texas; Museum docent facilitates 60 minutes of focused looking, consideration, conversation, and interpretation of a single artwork; free with museum admission, reservations requested: 315-393-2425, desmond@fredericremington.org.

MORLEY: Barn quilt painting class, hosted by the Morley Wesleyan Church and Madrid Dam Music Series, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at the church’s activity center, 7254 County Route 27; $60 fee includes most supplies; light refreshments and beverages; limited to 10 people; Cindy Monnat Williams, 315-386-3023, or Anna Campbell, 315-265-2047, for more information or to register; proceeds will be used for programs for local children.
