MASSENA — The Fly Factory, 54 E. Orvis St., an aerial hoop, yoga and fitness school, is hosting its first annual “Watch Us Fly” Aerial & Dance Showcase Saturday, May 21, at 6 p.m.

Twenty aerialists will perform aerial hoop, pole and dance routines, said owner Annette Swamp.

The aerialists who attend the Factory range in age from 10 to 57 years old. People travel from various areas, from Malone, Canton, Potsdam, Ogdensburg, Parishville, Moira, Waddington and other surrounding towns, Swamp said.

“We offer a unique way to gain strength and improve your fitness level,” the owner said.

The factory offers aerial hoop, pole fitness, acro, aerial hoop doubles, inspired movements adult dance classes and yoga.

“It’s a safe place, welcoming all who are interested regardless of age, gender or size. We have created a community where people walk into class as strangers and leave as friends. It’s more than a group gathering to become stronger, we’ve become The Fly Factory Family. It’s our happy place where we share the love of supporting and celebrating one another’s successes as well all things aerial,” Swamp said.
