Vendors sought for North Country Sustainability Day & Green Living in April

CANTON — Vendors are needed for the upcoming North Country Sustainability Day & Green Living Fair slated for April 22 and 23 at St. Lawrence University.

Both nonprofit groups and for-profit vendors are encouraged to register for this event.

Organizers are inviting local food and energy businesses and environmental organizations to exhibit at the Green Living Fair.

If you provide products, services, tools and/or information to assist people in living more sustainably, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and building resilience to changing conditions, and would like to be an exhibitor, please go to <http://bit.ly/SDGLF22> and click on “The Green Living Fair” menu button to register or find more information.

Register before March 25 to be included in future publicity.

The Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley and Paul Smith’s College are teaming up with Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, Canton and Potsdam municipalities, and the Local Living Venture to organize the combined event.

Both days are free and open to the public.

The North Country Sustainability Day will be held Friday, April 22 for and the Green Living Fair is on Saturday, April 23 at St. Lawrence University in Canton.

The Green Living Fair will have booths for vendors and groups promoting a green economy and climate solutions.

Sponsors and co-organizers of the event are St. Lawrence University, SUNY Canton, SUNY Potsdam, Clarkson University, Paul Smith’s College, Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, the Canton and Potsdam Climate Smart Community Initiatives, Local Living Venture, Brookfield Renewable, and EDF Renewables.

North Country Public Radio is the media sponsor.
