Tractor Supply stores in Massena, Potsdam, Gouverneur, and Ogdensburg will be holding a pet adoption event Saturday.

Various pet adoption agencies will be on hand with adorable, adoptable pets looking for homes.

Pet adopters will receive special coupon offers. In addition to the pet adoption, there will be fund raising activities.

Adoption organizations and events are as follows:

•At the Potsdam store, the Potsdam Humane Society, Kiss-a-Canine, 4-H Appreciation, and the Miniature Horse Association will b e there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• In Massena, the Massena Animal Food Pantry will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The Ogdensburg store will host a poultry information swap.

• The Gouverneur store hosts the Gouverneur Dog Pound and 4 Pound Paws from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Tractor Supply has been an active advocate of pet rescue and adoption," said District Manager Adam Hunter. "Our northern New York stores hope to continue to build on the total number of pet adoptions through this and other adoption events."

Tractor Supply Company said it helped with the adoption of more than 2,000 pets during last year’s event.
