DEKALB JUNCTION – The town of DeKalb will be hosting the annual chicken and pork barbecue in conjunction with the town-wide garage sales and other activities on Saturday, June 1.
The barbecue will feature a choice of chicken or pork, baked beans, macaroni salad, roll and dessert for $10. Just the meat costs $5. Serving starts at 3 p.m. There will be local delivery.
A craft and vendor sale will be held at the station from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tables or vendor spots cost $10.
The annual co-ed volleyball tournament will be staged. Those interested in fielding a team should call Chris Blauvelt at 315-771-8408. Registration costs $60 per team and starts at 10 a.m. Matches start at 10:30. The winning team will get free dinner and their entry fee returned.
