COLTON -- Dr. Blair Madore will lead a 3-mile hike on the Higley Flow State Park trails Dec. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. The mode of transportation will be determined by the weather and the choice of participants. There are skis and snowshoes available at the park if anyone needs to rent.
"Most years we follow up the hike with a cookout at one of the lean-tos," Madore said. "Unfortunately, we'll have to forgo that this year because of Covid-19."
Bring a snack, a drink, and a mask. Physical distancing will also be practiced throughout the hike.
Due to distancing caused by the COVID pandemic, each hike will be limited to eight participants, first come, first serve. If the weather prevents the event from being held, it will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13.
