HEUVELTON — The Amvets Post 1997, 107 State St., will hold a number of events and meetings in October.
A dance featuring the Steelin' Country band will be held Oct. 2 from 1-5 p.m. Cover charge is $3.
A cruise-in will be held Oct. 16 from noon - 2 p.m. All cars, trucks, motorcycles are welcome. If interested in participating contact Donna at 315-528-2263.
A Trunk or Treat will also be held Oct. 16 from 2-4 p.m. All are welcome to come and show off Halloween costumes. If interested in setting up a car, call Donna at 315-528-2253.
The Amvets Ladies Auxiliary 1997 will host a Mom Prom to benefit children's programs with a Roarin' 20s theme on Oct. 22 from 8-12 p.m. Music by DJ Dallas, prizes, refreshments, raffles, and more.
A Halloween Dance featuring Pure Country, with prizes and refreshments will be held Oct. 30 from 1-5 p.m. Cover charge $3.
Monthly meetings at the post include: Oct. 9 at 1:30 Sons of AMVETS 1997, Oct. 10 at 6:30 Amvets Ladies Auxiliary 1997 and Oct. 12 at 6:30 AMVETS Post 1997.
