MADRID – The St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, located on State Rt. 345, will hold its last scheduled Open House of the 2011 season from 10 am to 2 pm. Saturday, Oct. 22.
The Open House is free to the public and offers multiple buildings, collections and equipment for viewing, giving visitors a glimpse of rural life in Northern New York as far back as 150 years and before.
Regularly scheduled open hours will resume in spring 2012. However, school groups or individuals interested in tours over the winter can make arrangements by calling 322-8956.
