The St. Lawrence Leadership Institute has re-focused to offer mini-sessions this year in order to “continue delivering on its mission to foster the development of emerging and existing leaders for the advancement of St. Lawrence County and its communities,” the group said.
The Fall mini-series 'Mindful Leadership & Emotional Intelligence’ begins Oct. 29 from 2-3 p.m. and will be presented by Peter J. Anderson, PhD of Inner Citadel Consulting.
The 3-part mindful leadership and emotional intelligence training can help build company cultures that affirm, support, and empower employees as well as drive productivity and success.
The course is being offered free of charge, in partnership with Inner Citadel Consulting and requires registration ahead of time in order to receive the login information for the virtual program. Register at www.SLCchamber.org
The three-part series can be taken individually, or ideally, in total in order to gain the greatest knowledge and understanding to apply the new and mindful skill set to the workplace. The programs will be offered from 2-3 p.m. on Oct. 29 (“Why do emotions matter in the workplace?"), Nov. 5 (“How can emotions work for you?”) and Nov. 12 (“Respond, don't react”).
