HAMMOND — TAUNY Executive Director Jill Breit and historian Hallie Bond will be at the Iva Smith Memorial Gallery Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.to document quilts for TAUNY’s Northern New York Quilt Project.
They will photograph quilts and collect stories and information associated with them.
Briet and Bond are especially interested in seeing older quilts that are family treasures or prized in a collection.
If you’ve just finished a quilt that you are especially proud of, they welcome those, too.
No appointment is necessary.
The Iva Smith Memorial Gallery will also host a quilt exhibit that day.
