MASSENA – President’s Week hockey camps for boys and girls aged 9 to 17 is set for Feb. 21 to 23 at Massena Arena.
Former pro players Jenya Feldman and Matt Smith, owners and directors of Scanlon Creek Hockey in Barrie, Ont., say they will work with young players on skating, shooting, passing, puck control and body checking, while goaltending coach Penny Peters will work on the skills netminders need.
Three sections are planned, one for youngsters 9 to 11 years old and one for 12 to 14 year olds, for $300 per student, U.S. or Canadian funds, and an elite skills session with 15 to 17 year olds at $150.
