POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Community Dog Park will host a trivia night Saturday, April 27 from 7-9 p.m. at the American Legion, 128 State Route 345, a fully accessible venue.
The trivia night will raise funds to make much needed repairs to the dog park, said a press release from organizers. Trivia questions will be multiple-choice and feature fun animal facts for all ages. Light appetizers and desserts by Marigold Kitchen and Bakery will be served, included in the ticket price.
A cash bar will be available, and lottery board tickets and dog park t-shirts will be for sale. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, along with best team name and best team costume.
Registration is $25 per person, and can be purchase singly, in pairs, or as a team of four. Team registration is $100. All proceeds will support repair and maintenance of the park.

Located behind the Potsdam Humane Society, the Potsdam Community Dog Park provides a safe, off-leash, smoke-free, and enriching environment for socialized dogs and their people, free of charge.
The three-acre fenced-in park is sustained by local volunteers, and is open dawn to dusk, 365 days a year.
The Potsdam Community Dog Park is incorporated as not-for-profit organization under New York State law. The IRS has designated it as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations to the Dog Park are tax-deductible.
