OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg City School District will host a Community Resource Fair on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the Edgar A. Newell II Memorial Golden Dome, 1100 State St.
Those attending will learn about resources for families from community organizations. There will be free giveaways, food and information.
Community partners attending include: North Country Early Childhood & School-Age FACE Centers, Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County, Cerebral Palsy Association of the North County, Citizens Advocates, North Country Library System, Seaway Valley Prevention Council, Clarkson University TRAID, North Country Center for Independent Living (NRCIL), Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), St. Lawrence County Community Development Program, Massena Independent Living Center, Children’s Miracle Network, North Country Migrant Education Program, Accommodative Services Centers - SUNY Canton/SUNY Potsdam, Mountain Lake Services, Ogdensburg Fire Department, Ogdensburg Police Department, Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, LifePlan CCO, ACCES-VR, North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council Inc., Northern Rivers, and St. Lawrence County One-Stop Career Center.
The Community Resource Fair was planned in collaboration between the NYSED Partnership, St. Lawrence Lewis BOCES Special Education and the OCSD CSE Office.
