NORWOOD – The Norwood Public Library is inviting patrons to a Winter Reading Challenge, storytime, and a craft session to make lava bead bracelets. Patrons can join the Winter Reading Challenge that runs until Feb. 28. Pick up a special bookmark at the library and track your reading.
Read five books by February 28 to be eligible for prizes. Children who complete the challenge will win a free prize book. Teens will earn a chance to win a $25 Amazon card. Adults will earn a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Hometown Cafe.
Join local artist Kris Rozelle for an afternoon designing your own lava bead essential oil diffuser bracelets at the library on Sat., Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. Kids will learn how to make a bracelet and how to use essential oils on their lava beads if they choose. This class is sponsored by The Friends of the Library for the Norwood Arts Academy Series. Pre-registration is preferred. Call the library at 315-353-6692.
