CANTON -- North Wind After School Program currently has openings in our After School Program, located at the Extension Learning Farm in Canton.

This program serves children ages 5-12 and runs from 2:30-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The cost is $80 per week per child, with a discounted rate for additional children from the same household.

North Wind is launching a new program in response to the hybrid school plan as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will continue its mission to provide enrichment activities and experiential learning opportunities through our North Wind Programming.

The North Wind Remote Learning Assistance Program (RLAP) is committed to assisting parents in the education and care of their children through the Fall 2020 semester.

While North Wind is not a day care program, we are able to provide care for school aged children (ages 5-12) on the days that Canton Central School will be fully remote. At this point, Canton Central School is planning to have Remote Learning on Wednesdays each week. RLAP will be opened on Wednesdays from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at a cost of $40 per child.

If the Canton Central School reopening plan changes to include more Remote Learning Days, North Wind is committed to continuing to assist parents. Please note – if more Remote Learning Days are added to the Canton Central School plan, North Wind requests up to five (5) business days to adjust staffing and schedules.

If Canton Central School closes to in-person learning, no guarantee is made that North Wind Remote Learning Program or North Wind Afterschool Program will continue to remain open.
