MASSENA –Nicandri Nature Center is offering several outdoor nature activities Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16. Reservations are required and limited to 10 participants.

• A guided wildflower walk is being held Saturday, May 15, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Nicandri Nature Center. The walk will look for and identify spring wildflowers.

• Look for life in the ponds at Nicandri Nature Center with staff naturalist Joel on Saturday, May 15, from 2-3:30 p.m. The event is open to all ages. All equipment is provided, but participants should wear boots and plan to get dirty!

• A Sunday morning trail walk, May 16, from 10-11 a.m. is planned rain or shine to get out and enjoy learning about some of the plants and animals on the pink trail. Waterproof boots are recommended.

• A beaver dam walk and talk event will take place from 2-3 p.m. Naturalist staff will walk visitors out to an active beaver dam (0.2 miles, paved) to learn about beavers. Meet at the front door.

Separate reservations are required to visit the center, but there is restroom access. Masks are required. Waterproof shoes are recommended.
