WINTHROP – The Massena Masons will be holding a Safety Identification Event during the Tri-Town Winter Carnival on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the American Legion, Winthrop.
The Safety ID Program is open to the public and offered free of charge to all families within the county.
No scheduled appointment is necessary.
Participants will receive a free packet of individual information to assist law enforcement in the safe recovery of a lost or missing child, student, or adult.
All ages are welcome.
Permission slips for minor children must be signed by a parent or guardian.
The identification process includes fingerprinting, photos, and a short questionnaire.
All information is given to the parents; only consent forms are retained.
Participants receive a laminated photo ID card, a printout, and a CD-ROM containing all information as well as safety tips and materials.
