MASSENA — The Massena Central High School Band Program will present its annual Winter concert at the New Testament church starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.
Please note the change in venue for this concert due to the ongoing renovations in the High School Auditorium at this time.
Featured groups will include the High School Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Senior Saxophone Quartet, and Sophomore Saxophone Quartet. Orchestra selections will include works from G. F. Handel, G. Berryman, J. Buckland, W. Champion, and C. Martin.
Concert band selections will include works from William Owens, James Curnow, David Shaffer, Glen Ballard, and Alan Silvestri.
Jazz ensemble will have selections from Victor Lopez, Jerome Richardson, Lee Mendelson, Vince Guaraldi, and Scotty Morris.
The High School Saxophone Quartets will return to the stage for the first time since the pandemic.
Admission is free of charge.
