CANTON — Hammered dulcimer music workshops with Dan Duggan will be held Sept. 24 and Oct. 22 at The TAUNY Center on Main Street.
On Sept. 24, a Beginners (Dulcimer I) will be held at 10 a.m., followed by an 11:30 Past Beginners (Dulcimer II) class.
Classes on Oct. 22 will be 1 p.m. Beginners (Dulcimer I), and 2:30 p.m. Past Beginners (Dulcimer II).
Due to funding from Creatives Rebuild New York, there is no cost to participate, but registration is required. These workshops are part of a program series that will take place in multiple venues throughout the North Country over the next 2 years.
Duggan will provide instruments for everyone in the beginners workshop.
For the past beginners workshop, you are welcome to bring your own instrument, but Duggan will provide you with one to play if you don’t have one.
No cost for the workshops, but registration is required.
