POTSDAM -- Free weekly classes for adults learning English are being offered at Potsdam Public Library this fall. They are all held in the Community Room, adjacent to the library above the police station.
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are held Mondays from 4-7 p.m. Maria Morrison offers weekly classes on speaking, reading and writing English, while also learning about general education topics. For more information, email mmorrison@potsdamlibrary.org
Improving English Fluency classes are held every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Leah Zelkowitz instructs the informal group to help new English speakers improve fluency and conversation skills using web-based resources.
ESL Conversation Group meets weekly on Thursdays from 10-11:30 a.m. Bobby Gordon practices speaking English in a relaxed setting with other non-native English speakers. For more information, email bgordon@potsdamlibrary.org
