POTSDAM –“Memoir: Reasons Why I Left the Amish Community” will be discussed by local author Sam Miller at Potsdam Public Library on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m.
Miller will talk about his Amish life and why he decided to leave that life.
At the age of 17, living in Lawrenceville with his family, Miller made a life-altering decision to leave the Amish community. Thirteen years later, the now Nicholville resident has put his memories in writing.
