HAMMOND -- A fine art and renaissance music event will be held July 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Iva Smith Memorial Gallery of Fine Art, 627 state Highway 37.
Alexander Raykov, Syracuse Director of Schola Cantorum, and friends will perform renaissance vocal and instrumental music.
Artists will perform interpretations the songs, suites and fantasias of composers William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, Christopher Tye, Thomas Ravenscroft and Thomas Tomkins.
The luminescent paintings and drawings of Paul Saphier done in the region, will be on display in the barn gallery.
