OGDENSBURG -- In an effort to help people clean out their medicine cabinets, a “Drive-Thru Drug Take Back” event will be held Oct. 21 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center Parking Lot, 141 West River St.
Hosted by State Senator Patty Ritchie, the event is being made possible with assistance from the City of Ogdensburg Police Department.
At the events, any unused or expired medications will be accepted, with the exception of needles, syringes and liquids. Those who cannot attend can visitwww.ritchie.nysenate.gov for information on where prescription drugs can be safely disposed.
